Never lose your discs again with DiscFinder - 10 pieces

A clear and loud melody makes it extremely easy to locate the disc, whether it is stuck in a tree or bush, hidden in tall grass or even covered in snow. Also facilitates play in twilight/darkness and for those with a visual impairment.

At only 7 grams, it will not affect how the discs fly.

It is ready to use - both battery, sandpaper, alko.wipe and label for attaching the discfinder to the disc are included. The battery will last for most people for several seasons. The battery can also be replaced (CR1632). You can order extra double-sided tape or attach with super glue.

DiscFinder is extremely easy to use.

Turn the device on/off with a long press.
Set the timer with a short press (cycles through the 4 timer settings, 30sec, 1, 2 or 3 min).
The timer will start counting down a few seconds after your last press.
Cancel the timer or stop the alarm with a short press.
Restart the timer with a short press or turn it off with a long press.
If the timer is not restarted, it will automatically turn off after 1 minute.

How do you use DiscFinder?

Long press : Turn on/off

Start Countdown, Short Press: A short press (or multiple presses) selects the time interval on the timer and then automatically starts the countdown. The number of beeps tells you which interval is selected.

Stop countdown/alarm, Short press : When the timer is running or the alarm has gone off, a short press will stop both.

The device is now in standby. If you do nothing, it will turn off after 1 minute. If you want to start the alarm again, do so with a short press, it will then use the last used interval.

Sounds : All functions have their own sound so you learn very quickly how this works.

Is DiscFinder waterproof?

We left the DiscFinder in water overnight and tested it every week for a year afterwards. So, we dare say it can withstand fresh water (not tested in salt water).

Delivery time and shipping price?

Shipping 59 by post or postnord, we choose what is fastest.

We usually ship your order no later than the next business day from our offices in Drøbak.

I live near Drøbak, can I pick up at the warehouse?

If you live in Drøbak or nearby, you are welcome to pick up, but only by appointment (please write when it suits you in the order and we will respond to you when we process the order).

Do I need anything else?

Everything you need is included. Batteries and double-sided tape/label, sandpaper and alcowipes.

DiscFinder does not use GPS or Bluetooth so you don't need a mobile phone or anything else.

Does DiscFinder start playing the song right away?

You can set the timer to 30 seconds, 1, 2 or 3 minutes. When the time is up, DiscFinder starts playing a melody and does not stop until the disc is found.

Is it possible to use DiscFinder in the winter?

With DiscFinder you can extend the season by making it easier to find the disc in snow or in leaves in the fall when it gets dark faster.

How long does the battery last?

We estimate that with normal use (that melody plays for about 1 minute 4-5 times per round) the battery will last for several seasons.

It is also possible to replace the battery (CR1632)

Discfinder

Discfinderen var alt i alt helt grei, men det er en negativ ting som jeg har opplevd et par ganger nå. Det er at når jeg kaster hard og treffer et tre så har discfinderen en tendens til å dette av.

Hei Lucas, takk for nyttig tilbakemelding. Jeg sender deg noen flere etiketter når de kommer inn på lager igjen (ca 2 uker) men litt mer detaljerte instrukser så trur jeg vi skall få ordnet dette

These finders have saved my playing disc golf!!

All our local courses are overgrown so that i was seriously giving up playing, mostly using more time searching than playing plus loosing several discs :(

Our little team tried them on a very grassy course where we met other players desperately searching for their discs, while we just had to remember turning them on at every throw, and just listen to the disc (sometimes each other discs:)

A few days after i dared playing alone on the old 18 course on our island, where we normally have to rumage around a lot in the bushesto find our discs, this time having no spotter and just the discfinder i started cautiously and found i could hear them even on a long distance in the forest.

This was when i could feel my mindset changing as the beeping beacon came from beneath blackberries, among tallgrass or stuck in trees, so i actually stopped worrying about making a wild throws and 100% relying on the finder in the bushes or under leaves, pure magic!

As i accidentally hit a number of trees right on, the finder also proved to be resilient, it just sat there on its double tape, which i happened to be easier to mount and give extra strength (I measured that each tape is ½ gram)

Despite the extra weight, the discs perfectly were absolutely fine to throw, i used my light discs which were perfectly ok being 8 gram heavier, actually felt more stable, i think this design is the perfect compromise of weight, strength and price, i just want them on all my discs now ;)

I also realised that for non-bushy places i could keep the timer at 4 and just press stop and start when throwing again, that way i avoided the timeout and still keep the security of the finder if it flew astray, this also will work with more players to avoid timeout when waiting for the others.

Those finders are worth every cent and i am incredibly happy to have gotten such an unexpectedly simple solution to the terrible problem with our overgrown courses
