Cut down the time you spend searching for discs with DiscFinder V2 - 10-pack (2x5).

A clear and loud melody makes it easy to locate your disc—whether it’s stuck in a tree or bush, hidden in tall grass, or even buried under snow.

At just 3 grams, it is designed for minimal impact on your disc’s flight. Most players reported no noticeable difference when throwing with the previous version, which weighed 7 grams.

Ready to use straight out of the package—battery, sandpaper, alcohol wipe, and adhesive label for mounting the DiscFinder on your disc are all included. The battery has a long lifespan and typically lasts for a couple of seasons.

DiscFinder V2 is easy to use:


Water resistant

Not waterproof: Since this version has no “shell,” it is less water-resistant than Version 1. We’ve applied adhesive that offers some protection against moisture, but it’s not the same as before. In testing, it withstands damp conditions well, but if it ends up in water—especially repeatedly—it may stop working. So far, this has only been temporary, and functionality returns once it dries.
If it gets wet, wipe or shake off your disc thoroughly before pressing any buttons—this prevents moisture from entering the buttons. Battery capacity can also be affected when wet over time.

 


Installation

Always install at room temperature. Remove any uneven surfaces. Wipe clean with the included alcohol wipe. Normally you can play after 20 minutes, but if you experience issues, note that the adhesive reaches full strength after 72 hours (90% after 24).

⚙️ Use

Turn on/off: Press and hold the button. 1 beep = on, 2 beeps = off.

Select time: Short press to select how long it will take before the alarm sounds (30 sec, 1, 2 or 3 min).

Start timer: It starts automatically after the last press.

Stop alarm: Short press when the alarm sounds.

Restart: Short press to restart the timer.

Auto-off: The device automatically turns off after 1 minute of inactivity.

⚖️ Size and weight

V1 weighs about 6g without tape and about 8g with the strongest tape attached upon delivery.

The part that protrudes from the counter is ø32mm while the footprint is ø42mm.

🥏 Impact of flight?

The vast majority say they don't notice any difference. Many say they actually cast further because
They don't have to worry about losing the disk.

But a few people report that they notice a difference. Some say it makes the discs more understable while others say overstable. Some have also said that it flies a little shorter due to the higher weight.

The majority of those who have reported noticing a difference are high-level players. But out of now over 12,000 (autumn 2025) units sold, maybe 10 have said this.

As most people know, hard hits against trees and rocks will deform the disc and often also affect the flight of the disc...but we usually don't stop using that disc because of that. And a hard impact, a lot of wind, cold air, etc. will affect the flight far more than the DiscFinder will, no matter what level you play at.

If you are concerned that DiscFinder will affect flight, we suggest testing 2 units first so you can test.

Veldig praktisk

Veldig praktisk, merker ikke mye på flight forskj ller på noen av diskene. Litt synd at de ikke tåler vann bare

Fin størrelse. Noe lav lyd i forhold til V1.
2 av 10 sluttet å fungere etter møte med litt vått gress. Spent på resten.
Discfinder.no sendte nye som erstatning så all honnør for det. V1 har fungert strålende i snart to sesonger.

It works great!

"Hello again!

I have now had 10+ rounds with the discfinder v2.

It works great!
I'm incredibly surprised about how much water they can handle, i have landed in multiple deep puddles where the whole disc has been drenched. At first I thought it was just ruined, but after a quick drying it worked like new again!

When applying them I was suuper thorough, let them harden for 24+ hours with weight on them, fully cleaned and all.
Everyone of them has stayed on without a problem and many many tree hits, Except the ones i put on my Latitude 64 Zero Gravity discs. Lost one but found it beeping a few meters away, just superglued it back and it seemed like it was gonna stick, but sadly I lost it again without finding it. And it seems like it's the plastic on the Zero Gravity discs that just won't stick to normal superglue or the 3M tape included, since I lost the other one I had too.

Overall just 8/10. Deducted points are because I worry a bit about what happens when the battery eventually runs out, even though I know it'll probably last for a really long time. But to sacrifice that to get less weight is absolutely worth it I think!

The falling off issue is as I see it nothing you could do and is a fault of my own, I should have used another glue and turned them on before I threw the disc. I mean on all my other discs they are stuck like a MF and won't be falling off anytime soon!

As for the v1 i gave to my friend, he just slapped it on, mid round and got to playing directly and that seems to be stuck forever and also works like a charm!

Thank you again and I absolutely recommend these to other people, have only had good reactions and questions on where to buy!
